OUTBACK ROUNDUP PHOTO CONTEST THE WINNERS
		RANGE magazine’s eighth annual “Outback Roundup 2001” included hundreds of images from entrants in 14 states. Judges included acclaimed photographers Linda Dufurrena and Marilyn Newton, plus RANGE publisher C.J. Hadley. “I can’t have my own way all the time,” CJ said after quite a battle to select winners, “but for the first time ever, all three judges picked the same photograph for “Best of Show.” RANGE thanks all participants and is proud to share winners and merit awards on these pages.

			More than one dozen merit awards also were given in Outback Roundup 2001. To view them, pick up a copy of RANGE Summer 2001. Amateur and professional photographers who are interested in submitting photographs for RANGE magazines's Outback Roundup 2002 should pick up the Winter 2002 issue for entry information or call 1-800-RANGE-4-U. Entries to Shooting the West will be due in February 2002.
